• 406 CUBIC INCH LINGENFELTER FUEL INJECTED SMALL BLOCK- Oh, just your average 400 cubic inch small block Chevy, bored .030 over and retrofitted with a hydraulic full roller LPE camshaft, aluminum D-port Corvette heads, TPIS "Big Mouth" aluminum intake, Accel Super Ram plenum, and 1000cfm billet aluminum throttle body.  Currently it is gathering dust in my garage.  Maybe one day, I'll actually get around to putting it back into something ... maybe one day.

• 2004 HONDA CBR600RR- My daily commuter powered by a cutting edge technology derived, compact, ultra-high compression, 599cc inline four cylinder.  She's liquid cooled with double overhead cams, four valves per cylinder, digital fuel injection, eight fuel injectors, 32bit microprocessor, three dimensional real time fuel mapping, a large volume ram equipped cold air box, six speed close ratio transmission, hydraulic clutch, center up exhaust, and massive triple disc brakes (the front brakes are heavy duty four piston units).  Ten and a half seconds through the quarter mile, top speed in excess of 165mph and all weighing in at a little over four hundred pounds wet ... all this and 42 plus miles per gallon fuel economy.  Unreal.

• 1986 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM-   Take a look at this all American classic sports car; a black on black and gold 1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am powered by a 9.5:1 compression ratio, High Output (205hp @ 4400 rpm,  270 lbs-ft torque @ 3200 rpm) LB9 5.0 liter (305cid) TPI Tuned Port Injected small block V8 and the (mandatory) MX0 700R4 four speed automatic overdrive transmission.  She's factory equipped with the legendary WS-6 special performance option package which includes power assisted four wheel disc brakes (10.5 inches in diameter on all four corners), 36mm front sway bar, 24mm rear sway bar, special performance rated shocks and struts, specific coil springs, 12.7:1 quick ratio power steering and the super heavy duty Australian-built 9 bolt Borg Warner limited slip differential (with 3.27 high speed / performance gears). 
  
  The TA also sports the comparatively rare extra cost Recaro seat optioned tan cloth interior (in its last year of being offered by the factory), top of the line UT4 ETR radio with UQ7 factory subwoofer system, power antenna and removable T-tops.  This is my other toy, restoration project, local show car and occasional driver during the really cold and / or rainy days when it's just too dangerous to be out on two wheels (especially while traveling in Lamar county).  She also sees limited street time when it is sunny, warm and I just want some V8 powered open-air freedom with the glass tops stowed, the windows cranked down, the tunes cranked up and the clocks pushing their limits into the red on some old road.
  
  Follow along in the adventure of finding, buying, owning and restoring this particular Pontiac Firebird Trans Am ... a classic all-American grand touring legend from way back in my teenage / high school years (aka "the 1980's").
