Electrical

• Replace broken factory power antenna with new unit

• Check why factory subwoofers don't work

• Check why factory radio has stopped working

Mechanical

• Replace headlights (high intensity halogen), repaint housings, adjust for proper aim

• Replace both driving lights with OEM units (passenger side now burned out)

• Wire management, under hood

• Clean engine compartment and detail

• Tune up (complete)

• Service transmission

• Service rear limited slip differential

• Lube all hinges

• Replace smog pump and belt

• Replace underhood insulation

 Restoring the factory interior

• Replace original carpet with fresh set

• Recover RECARO seats, repair 1" tear to driver's side bolster, reinforce side high traffic area of each seat.

• Replace headliner with fresh piece.

• Replace interior dome light lens with fresh piece

• Replace rear interior panels that are sun faded and crumbling with black pieces to give color contrast to interior

• Fresh floor mats front and rear

• Remount side of center console to center console housing

• Restore TA steering wheel
   

Other

• Get saddle shop to repair separated T-top zipper, sew back into bag material where it has pulled loose

Miscellaneous stuff

• Replace coolant recovery bottle with new OEM piece

• Replace washer fluid bottle with new OEM unit

• Replace both front inner fender well skirts

• Replace left, middle and right air deflector with new OEM pieces

• Replacement 1986 5.0 liter TPI emissions decal - under hood

• Replacement power window switches x 2 to replace time faded units

• Replacement power door lock "strip" to replace well worn indicator switch

Restoring the original two-tone black and gold factory color scheme

• Replace all original decals with new decals

• Repaint lower ground effects back to GM champagne gold (60)

• Add gold and ochre "square-dot-fade" stripe to area between lower ground effects and body

• Add factory "PONTIAC" emblem to left front lip of headlight

• Repair rear bumper cover - three screw holes from previous installation of emblem or antenna

• Repaint rear bumper cover to repair scuff mark on passenger side and repair of three holes

Other non-factory modifications

• "FOUR WHEEL DISC" decal from 1979 WS6 Trans Am on each door handle to replace the tacky factory "FUEL INJECTION" emblem - save emblems due to rarity.

• Custom "WS6" emblem for dash, add next to "Performance Suspension" emblem

• Custom "5.0 LITER TPI" engine callout emblems on side rocker panels to replace mundane "5.0 LITER F.I." emblems

• Gold "TUNED PORT INJECTION" decal for use under rear "TRANS AM" name.

Mechanical mods

• Install weld-in SFC Sub-Frame Connectors
